"To new beginings"

By Grim_Sorrow

Once more faded
forced to linger
these thoughts
memories
tragedy
I had forgotten
or at least
repressed
this pain
these words
I sit
free basing
misplacing heartache with half assed happiness
this is it
all i hope to achieve
this brief instance of sanity
in this life
adorned with tragedy
normality
a far cry from reality
faded
etiolated
amongst the thoughts of many
the minds of few
the hearts of none
a world
un accepting
unrelenting
an end
befitting only the worst i have to offer
that is my gift
my burden
my work

my words

Perhaps life is a big mirror after all, and we just see our reflection, our thoughts and wishes. If it is indeed as such, maybe striving for more than just being half-content is the key, no? You phrase your emotions like a sculptor molds a marble statue, with light and ever so graceful touch. Thank you for this.
