Waiting Memories

By MoonLitShadowz

Closing my eyes
The room fades away
And I'm back in your arms
Laying in your bed

Laughing and playing
Completely alone
Gazing deep in each other's eyes
Not bothering to hide our love

The scene changes
I'm nervous in front of you
The water is running
Steam filling the room

Clothes falling to the floor
Hot water then cold
Bodies pressed together
Exploring, touching, kissing

Changing once again
It's dark and you're on my bed
Watching me at the end
As I reveal myself for the first time

Quiet and eager touching
Cuddling and falling half asleep
Under your leather jacket
Waiting for your ride that never came

Smiling it changes yet again
I see Liz and I getting me ready
To meet you for the first time
Panicked, telling Liz I couldn't do it

Walking into the store being bolder that I'd ever been
How good you looked, I was so nervous
Then you kissed me for the first time
And everything was so right

Sounds filter back in and I open my eyes
My smile bittersweet
Knowing you aren't here
Tears glisten in my eyes unshed

Whispering to you though
You cannot hear "I love you"
I wait for you to come home to me
And we can make more memories
