Hate you, hate me

 I hate you because you hate everything
I choke on the love we have
It suffocates me
It makes me feel like a prisoner
Bound by a word
That used to mean something
Sadness and disappointment
Surrounds our life
Anger and frustration
There is no alleviation 
We feed off each others fears
Like a pack of jackyls 
And we're the helpless deer
We have done this for twenty some years
And still we both suffer
Everyday comes new tears
I love you and yet I hate you
How can this be?
The one thing I could count on is killing me
It hurts like nothing I have felt before
Just now knowing I have opened this door
And fearing your reaction to my words
I am actually scared of what will happen
When you read this, and I know you will
You will then hate me as well
