Karmic Logic

By Frater Synth

Karma

The idea that good things happen,

To those who do good things.

But when good leads to bad,

And bad leads to good,

What is one to believe.

Unless the bad is a sign,

That even though you attempt to be good,

You are inexorably evil.

Or you do a bad thing,

And good things happen,

Because it was done for good reason.

But then what happens to neutral acts,

Do they just seem meaningless,

Do they bring upon neutral acts?

Who is the judge,

Of what is good or bad,

Right or wrong?

Who decides,

Who is deserving of good thing,

And who should deserve the bad.

Is a mother prostituting herself ,

To put food on her child’s table,

Good or bad?

How can anyone judge,

When the world is full of Gray.
