Ecdysis

By insideout

rusty nails piercing through
it tingles like love at first sight
your eyes gazing wide.. waiting
my lips quiver
shadows dance on the ceiling
i cant recall believing
in such exquisite pain
it's all in vain
piercing deeper
i begin to see reality
i succumb
to unearthly dreams
drips of life seep out
as I realize what a lie
it's always been
this pain is real
surfaced and beautiful
you shed a tear
as you watch me heal
from the inside out.

Oh wow.. what exquisite images here.. comes to mind a few things when reading..all seamlessly connected.. the poem went perfect with the title.. the dream..realization.. healing from within.. not removing your outer.. we all bleed. we all need a little bump..
