That's Showbiz, Babe

By Miztaken4beauty

Pretty girl,
What's your name?
Would you like,
a claim to fame?
Sign right here,
on the dotted line,
No worries, hon,
Everything will be fine.
Pretty girl,
I hate to say...
But do you know,
How much you weigh?
Try these pills,
and you'll be fine.
Skinny, and pretty,
and oh so divine.
Pretty girl,
This is the end.
A druggie has been,
Coated in sin.
You sold your soul,
last October.
Nowadays,
You're rarely sober.
That's showbiz, baby.
we have no pity.
Your body is aging,
You aren't so pretty,
So it's time,
We part our ways.
Beauty costs,
and you always pay.

  • A former member wrote: Overly glamorized, I know this ... I have seen this too many days, too many pretty girls falling prematurely from their youth... yes, you always pay... and sometimes it's pay.neful...

  • A former member wrote: Tragic how many fall into this trap every single day...and not realizing it until it's much too late.
