Black to Blue

By Moonflower

His eyes are dark

Fixed on something

I have yet to see

in the distance

He stands as if

alone

Fingers fly

As the tones drift

coming in waves

And those eyes are a color

I only have seen

in my mind

Auburn and Dark

gleaming in the pale light

That look removes time

breaking me down

As those seemingly infinite

portals lock

deep into mine

A glimpse of familiarity

and then swept away

like the notes he plays

Valiantly reminiscent of

some thing deeper

but I'm swept along in

those racing hues

black to blue

And he's still standing

there

Like an unkown truth
