Warning Label

By Miztaken4beauty

To Whom It May Concern:

Quick of wit and a bit unstable,

I’m giving you my warning label.

I wake each day and sharpen my tongue,

I’m both very old and very young.

.

View me as the queen of hearts,

I could rip your world apart.

.

[I’ll caress you flesh with a touch of lips,

And keep your soul at my fingertips.]

.

I’ll refuse to stand second best,

I’ll put you through my insecure tests.

.

I’ll doubt your feelings are genuine,

And ask for evidence that you’re mine.

.

I may trip and fall short of your dreams,

And my moods can vary in extremes.

.

Little to offer and a lot to ask,

Loving me is quite a task.

I’ll pretend there’s nothing I require,

Even if I’m crippled by desire,

I’m a twisted girl, not a fable,

So please, accept my warning label.
