Still Breathing
By soldier
Lost and dead
I'm not who I am
Watching others grip life
As though it's a rose that will never wilt
You stole
the very thing I hate
You took the life from my grasp
I had
every thing
But I still was nothing
Waiting for
the moment to come
But it never does
Dying so that I can never
die agian
But I'm still breathing
The face in
the mirror laughes at me
Says "this is your exsistance"
This
isn't me
But it's my doing
I fall some where else
To a void in my memories
Feels like I'm gone
Then I hear
the lauge agian
Waiting for the moment to come
But it never does
Dying so that I can never die agian
But I'm
still breathing
My life is dying - fading
Waiting for the moment to come
But it never does
Dying
so that I can never die agian
But I'm still breathing
It's with in my grasp but it disappears

I rather like the "feel" of this piece...did notice a few spelling errors, but if you are like me when I write my mind goes so fast, my fingers can't keep up....well done, freda

Okay your stuff is definitely lyrical..I can hear you singing this over a guitar piece..not bad I've felt this before in a short glimpse of my life where I've felt as if I was slipping on life..there was no grasp but..hang in there..you are still breathing..

a few of my songs posted already have music to them, I"m afraid the few piece you read are old and were meant to be more acoustic or softer pieces, but unfortunately I only do death metal now and do not have a singer to do the soft piece because I only scream haha, your welcome to check out my band page tho
