"Siren"
By Grim_Sorrow
finally forgotten
you call to me
one long unrelenting
memory
the freeform fathomless pitfall of propriety
false society
the egotistical epitome
of angst
anger
and idiocy
you
failed in me
for hope once found safe harbor in your eyes
but
broken glances
ever long
left me adrift in violent seas
this
part of me
left burning in your wake
and you
my great mistake
can only glorify my misfortune
so i walk cautiously
yet missteps
overcome
and i fall to find the worlds embrace
now colder than
i remember
and its words
far less meaningful
fed up with
her failed attempts at consolement
"It'll be ok" "get up" "I've got
you"
my response
"No it wont" "I cant" and "Fuck you"
my
eyes grow callous
spirit frail
I've spent so long trying to reassemble
the pieces
I've forgotten what their for
and i
I'm tired
of trying
of writing
of reciting
so i sit
i stay
find comfort in my youth
focus blindly on here and now
tear
the page and start anew
again
and hope to god that
this time
this time
i can get it right.

Something is over or ending and your hurting but you remain true to yourself, you are the hero in this piece, ready to get up and go again. Thats what i like well written, good depth.

a maelstrom of emotion and freefalling. .. . .like a subtle heavy heaving breath of poetry. instantaneous. great piece.

it pains me to read your pain.... I wish it could all be taken away from you in an instant, and all I can do is share in your hope... have faith in your amazing spirit.
