So You Thought You Were Innocent

By soldier

Is it just my memories
Or my mind playin tricks on me

I know you won't be here now
You left me soo long ago
But I can't take it away
And I have nothin to show

Love is like
An old fashion suicide
So strap yourself in
And enjoy the ride

Is this heaven or is this hell
It's gettin soo hard to tell

Loves a game of risk
Some times I feel too late
I know I might not get you back
But that's a risk I'll have to take

Love is like
Hate choosing sides
But you gotta move on
And wipe the blood stains from your eyes

What do you do
When you feel like the world's against you
When the world hates me
The world hates me
The world hates me

Is this the feeling I've been lookin fo
A lifeless thought - a feeling soo pure

I'm glad I haven't seen your face around here
Or I might of broke down in tears

Some times I long to be the child inside of me
But those are just wasted memories

I used to have my innocence
Then I used to have you
Now I've lost it all
Now I'm empty inside

Love is like
Trying so hard not to cry
When you realize
The woman you love is no where in sight

And love is like
The tears in here eyes
When you finally realize
You've hurt here inside

And love is like
Love is like
A good old fashion suicide

To those that have felt love, and had it ripped away I'm sure this are few works out there they can claim are as descriptive and as close to reality as this. Scholar
