Ode To Fire, Ode To Death

By Berry Fantastic

Tongue of fire, lick of flame
Scorch my heart and burn my name
Free my soul, consume my flesh
Black my eyes and steal my breath

Essence of the ember red
Flicker deep inside my head
In the grave I make my bed
Tis for you that I am dead

Dying flame within this urn
Smolder ash, with passion burn
Far beneath the lifeless ground
In this place, a fire found

Do not mourn but think of me
Know, my love, that I am free
Tongue of fire, lick of flame
Scorch my heart and burn my name
