No More Pain

By soldier

suffering
tearing me apart
weakening the mind
breaking the heart

misery
loves company
kept fear beside me
to inflict enternal wounds

no more pain
to feel everyday
I just disconnect it
no more pain
to feel every way
I just disconnect it

with out anguish
pleasure would be lost
to the depths
I'm in love with my pain

stricking
needles to the eyes
blind to the facts
I live to hurt

no more pain
to feel everyday
I just disconnect it
no more pain
to feel every way
I just disconnect it

too numb to feel
what I one loved
hatred
and pain

no more pain
to feel everyday
I just disconnect it
no more pain
to feel every way
I just disconnect it

The line "I live to hurt" struck a chord with me. Live to hurt from the pain that we just accept as normal. Very sad. Interesting read.
