winter leaves

By boneplate

winter has arrived.

maybe come spring i can be bought back,
full of color. surrounded by beauty.
filled with hope.
no pain, no guilt.
blanketing myself with light.
illuminating the world.

then i remember........

On the flip side with that wind comes the opportunity to land in any given environment. I loved the concept behind this. Even in winter those things that seem lost to us are still below the surface waiting to surprise us all. Nicely done :)
