Why give up?

By Foreverlost28

Give up when you can’t take the pain
Every second a wave of agony strikes you
Knocking you down, taking away the air you breathe
Your heart stops but you hold on
Give up when you feel the coldness
It creeps along your skin
You’re encased in a box of ice that slips through your soul
Freezing, you try to sound but it’s caught in the mist
Give up when every second you cry
The tears clash against the ground
Thunder beats around your head
Your eyes are no longer alive
Give up when you can’t stop feeling alone
The touch of another won’t suffice your emptiness
Withering away, your heart just crumbles
You’re so disappointed within
The pain, the coldness, the tears, your alone
Say goodbye
The time is now
Give up
