Fools Heart

By Crimsonrose

Deeper and deeper dives the knife you have placed in my back.
Don't worry lover dearest, for you have still pierced my heart.
Lay there now in his arms and feel secure as I have fallen.
Twist a little harder with your lies, I have yet to fall apart.
Can you not see you are the world to me?
And I forgave your adulturous ways time and time before.
Oh I guess you thought I did not know.
I knew all along and loved you to the core.
This death is slow,
but at least it gives me one more day to see you aglow.
