broken pencil

By skully

I only write for you, the times we spent
The days we played, for all that youth was blue
Now your going, I’m gone to this afternoon
Though I can still remember your bloom

I only wrote for you, can’t remember why
Can’t remember when, I only wrote for you
And now your lost my writing’s through
I only wrote, I only wrote for you

Just as summer is blooming, I can’t seem
To be forgetting, I gorged on you
Your summer night, your winter finger
I only wrote for, I’m only right for you
