Some Days

By thesuccubusreturns

Some days
We lie naked
Arms tangle
Bodies press together
Flesh burns with passion
Depressing love ensues
Kisses and promises
Always to be broken
Vows of love
That will never be for filled
Under the lights
Of the Christmas tree
Love is made
Not had
Love is made
Not felt
Love is made
And I pretend
Some days
