Faint Smile, Goddess

By Henry Coldnight

Faint smile
that melts away
the sorrow and sadness

A smile,
her confidence,
some arrogance
in her loneliness.

Faint smile
that somehow
gives people strength
to fight against darkness

A smile
of fearless, plus
a hint of shyness.

Crazy,

reckless,

madness...

Her loveless love,
eternal happiness,
all too heartless.

There's no pain
greater than painless,
and yet...

A smile that
was always on her face,
proudly she walks...

Moving on
with a faint smile,
nothing more,
nothing less.

Proudly she walks...
