O Mater Luna, Regina noctis, adiuva me nunc

By Dianas_Eclipse

Moon.

Mother.

Sol-sister.

Star reflection.

Ever-changing, ever-guiding light of dark.

Of hope.

Of faith.

I put my faith in you, my hope in your light.

Sing me to sleep with your gravity

Wake me with your eclipse.

Time to wake up, turn off the sun for a while.

Eclipse to block out the sun, show the stars for where they've been hiding.

This eclipse will kill me, this eclipse will birth me.

This eclipse is me.

Suddenly changed, elementally the same.

O Mater Luna, Regina noctis, adiuva me nunc.
