Shadowed Longings

By Dianas_Eclipse

Have you touched your dark side
before?
Become a stormcloud flickering with
lightning, ominous darkness
A thermonuclear furnace where your heart
should be,
burning through the firewalls.
Is your soul half dark, yet you don't
even know it?
Are you a natural, cursed with the
gift of fury and the promise of
hell in your eyes?
Or a dragon-haunted boy with a furnace
for a heart?
Have you touched your dark side before?
I've caught glimpses of it, and it's
transformed me:
I want to heal you, bring you back to the light
repair your ebony wings of flight.
Were you my knight of the night from the
start?
Shadowed longings of my bleeding heart.
