honor without vision

By DIATRICUS

You see it, don't you?
That tremor in the wind
The cellophane bust
The blustery fuss
That smell of

Wanting of expression
The slippy-dip childlike compression
With your sing song calamity exiled to extremity
Indifference suckling at your pinkie toe
Could use another body part, oh yes, I know
Cherish kindly crumbs of wisdom, crumble inside the secret chasm
Stop-action framing of a form worth naming
Cyclical free form atypical sea foam

Kindly shut the window please
The chill in my bones begs you not to

And what of the hue transparent
That would be a statement, though
Did you catch my folly? Her name was --
But of course, there were many

Royalty born of merit, respect none other
Skewed morality caustic in application
Let us spew out from within our poison -- our dependency

Humility without humor a benign ointment

Soft, your graceful nature
Thank you for the thoughtful gesture
Your warmth does glow within the dark
Though blind, I see your blessed, blissful presence

Double Pisces twice irreverent
Do not mistake my coyness for complacency

To where does this path lead?

A tin of butterscotch placed before us
Morse Code taught with strict measure
Though recited constant lore
Of horses, poems,
Of two two World Wars
When I took absence from your side
Upon return reminiscence dared not follow
So learned again my name, my being, of your blood
Came again the Code, the essence, the lessons
Of drawing horses through mud
And men with honor

but no vision
