She sways from side to side

By pushblood

She sways from side to side
Endless smiles and that look
Tunnel vision sets in
Moments like this
Far and few in between
Another lost cause
Term oil in the inevitable burning crusade
Lessens learned lessens burned
Fork in the road, and this I avoid
Road blocks and detours
Four wheel drive
My own path I will make

She sways from side to side than stops
Notice the lost canyons in my eyes
"What’s wrong?” as they always ask?
A burning desire
The temptation of time
Fear surrounds the mood
Desensitizes
Salvation could be found
But not this time

She sways from side to side
Deeper and harder
Her hips move
Running her nail up and down her skin
With a snap of the wrist
And desires
Her nails dig my flesh
The canyon has engulfed my feeling
Here and their my mind sways
I see you
But I don’t feel you…..
…And yet I need you…..
