The letting

By Winterwords

What does it take
to dig the ground
of the unconscious side
to see it well
with blood and tears
of hope and joy

Twig-like fingers protuding
to reach lightwards
to an enlightened eye

What are these mysteries
unfurling
...uncurling
like the scarlet crispen leaf
like our hearts
stiff from holding in the tide

...oh to be warmed
to be turned
to hold
and be held
to find a passage
in an iris
this,
is a destiny

Very cool. I particularly liked the imagery in the third section. And "to find a pasage in an iris" Nice work here.
