A letter to my love II

I sat on the beach tonight and stared at the full moon and naturally my thoughts quickly turned to you….I have come to think of the waves of emotion that come over me in your absence as legendary. From you going missing for a day when I only knew your name to knowing every curve on your face and now I have to miss you for weeks. Your absence has become legendary, your absence produces my senses to heighten and my visions to turn inward. As I desperately seek the connection with your soul that is legendary with your absence.

In my words you know when your spoke of, you know you’re the source of an inspiration that no other could feed in this life time or the next. You are a muse of sorts once I thought myself the teacher now I know I am merely a student sitting within a canvas that you paint. You are barefoot and foolish, you are brave and confident, you are all the things in this life and the next that create a hopeless wonder in the lives of people who forget what it is like to be alive.

I have seen you take so many under your wings and make them believe in themselves. In your absence I have realized that my belief has wandered I have lost myself in the dark. I forgot what it was I was looking for when I started following your light. I remember now what it was, it’s the harmony in my words that become clearer in your absence. My vision of you is now in perspective, its like seeing through a telescope. The thing that is closest is often the farthest if you are looking through the wrong end.
