Not Grandma's Sanka

By cadymae

As long as you are going to pick up your tall pike
Would you grab a complication for me?
A not-simple twist on coffee with milk

It will require two cups to be handed over
(You will do the final combinating)
After they use a beaker and two shot glasses to make

They'll inject hot air into the cool 2%
til it swirls agitation shown in froth

Meanwhile two shot glasses gather the squeezed nectar
Of the coffee bean in a restricted punched-through stream.
Twice.

Quad ristretto espresso macchiato whose dollop of foam will ride to the top
Of the short steamed extra-hot one-pump classic 2% milk

Personal cup discount

Baristas span from confused to impressed to annoyed
Some do the milk to perfection while their counterpart
Fills my espresso with foam forgetting that the espresso
Macchiato is not a cappuccino or latte.

 Honest.
Just a dollop
Of foam.

My milk is coming behind shortly.

A store-made self-directed flat-white takes attention
And a first world to indulge it in.

It tastes amazing though.

Having fun in coffee experimentation whilst driving the barista nuts in the process. Great stuff.

" store-made self-directed flat-white takes attention And a first world to indulge it in." I like this one very much, and I feel this...prentious, useless, indulgent...but so so awesome...:). It is good to have the option of oppulence...and the priviledge of guilt at its enjoyment. Ciao, T/S Scholar
