Dawning

My heart beats regular
And I don’t know about you
But when I don’t think
I find that kind of spectacular
The leaves fall every year
Each spring they come again
We don’t notice this life pulse
Chasing away ephemeral fear
I woke up again this morning
Its just like every day
But unlike every day
A new way may be dawning
