Lydia Jade announces: The long anticipated DarkPoetry.com book is finally going to become a reality! We will be accepting submissions for a compilation book of poetry from site authors. We know getting your work published is very exciting, and we are thrilled to finally be able to offer our members the oppertunity to see their writing in print. The submissions page with criteria and further instructions will be available on the site shortly. You must be a member to submit your work for consideration, so if you aren't already a member sign up now!

While supplies last (and they are limited, being handmade t-shirts!) you can get a free DarkPoetry T-Shirt in Summertime White (it shows the blood better, and keeps you cool) simply by upgrading your account from now until August 1st to Gold status.

First upgraded, first served. Please be sure that your address is current before upgrading and DPmail your shirt size and a confirmation of your address to DarkPoet to get things going.

Members outside the US: You must upgrade to a quarterly or annual Gold plan for the free t-shirt, as the shipping cost for us is quite a bit higher and a single month membership won't quite cover our costs. Still it's a great deal!

Just upload to your YouTube account, get the embed code and paste it into the editor via the new icon.

If you haven't been around for awhile, you should check your profile: I've added a pretty nice new interface and lots of new ways to organize your works and control who can see them.

DarkPoet got inspired to try a fancier t-shirt design and printed up a few of these. Very few. If you like it, now is the time to buy.
