  • "nicely narrative but ringing with melancholy; ghostly, like a spirit looking to return to the earth and do 'mortal' things once more, such as love, despite the whispers of triviality....you have a knack for these themes, I enjoyed the way you connected the dots with the 1st to the last"

  • "if only I could fave this...so much seeps thru the emotional to the vivid and back again; articulate as mentioned and imaginative. Love LOVE the sex as strychine/poison analogy. Fuckin hits hard here. Your 'misery' has lent itself to spellbinding poetry (and at such an 'early' age)...I suppose the one danger is that however fantastic the poeyry is, its little comfort, lest a cure, as exemplified by the closing line. Whoever you're struggling to 'love'/addressing here I reckon would be awe struck at such piercing elegiac ad visionary-like words. Pretty incredible nontheless Jules... sad, candid; braincandy brilliance"

  • ""that same mouth in the morning which tastes of stale tobacco and bad wine" I love your descriptive layering, the red raw wrecked molested flowing energy of this poem. The rhythm in the tenth verse is extremely effective. You have captured the Polaroid universe of the city's hard, hard underbelly quite well. This is Daliesque & symphonic. Well done! "
