The name's Dacotah.
Preferably,'Cotah.
I'm not much of a writer anymore,but I'm still a reader and a thinker.

Over looking my very old poems I realize it's safe to say I'm nothing like I was.I'm not dark, not daunt, not cold, and certainly not obsolete.

I'm not easily summed up into words, although I'm not very complicated.
I'm a creation of weaves and tangles.
I'm as common as the girl next door, yet as diverse as a pair of mismatched socks.
I'm rowdy, though quiet.
I'm cheap, but classy.
I'm determined and wavering.
I'm sympathetic, though thick.
I'm trash to some, but darling to others.
I'm just a little odd, maybe even strange.
My clothes are a little different, but my mind is full of scrutiny.
Whatever you think of me causes no damage.
Your words will never hurt me though they may sting.
I'm generally artistic, thoughtful, and I regularly enjoy questioning people.
I'm typically welcoming of others unless mocked or provoked.

I'm secretly looking for an old friend on this site.I knew him probably 3 years ago,but we both lost contact.Unfortunately I remember only his name,Rob,but nothing of his username or his poems.I hope to one day thank him for his kindness.
