Corner

By johntaiyu

I don't like throwing things away
because memory's
the closest thing
I got
to roots.

And these things
bring it all roaring back

They're in boxes
set in rows
down in the basement
going all the way back
into the dark
where the lightbulb's
burned out
in the corner.
