A Tale of my destruction

By LordBrosnian

On my soul so sweeps the raptures
Of a weighing, scissile fiend
A shadow of confusion throne'd
A'top mine heart - sustaine'd
So drips the precious nectars
Fro' his cusp'ed teeth inflamed
With hungers named insaciable
My passions, so he claims
With each aspiration gripped
Another worldly dream attained
Vampyrical and ravaging
He robs it of its flame
So swirl the ebbing ashes
Caking 'round mine heart again
Until its beat - so burked
A muffled sigh's all that remains
On that vacant desert hearth
within the souless winds un-named
Sits a fiend perched ever-smittenly
A-top the heart he's claimed

well, why dont you write some more and put in there the way you want to die... just a suggestion... anyways, good write.. i like the fact that you used big words (unlike me) and that you tried keeping the reader on the edge

You remind me of Shakespeare for many reasons but more flavor to it. I loved it; it was like vodka in my system..~Gothic
