bOX oF cOLORS

By inexperienced

Still walking down the road with a groovy rhythm
after taking of my brown and stylish sun glasses
(which I’d bought for a very cheap price from a public bazaar)

Then the world turned into dark blue
with yellow street lights placed along the way
where cars were playing tricks to pass each other by

And I turned my head to feel the grey wind
embracing my face,
trying to touch the parts of my body
as much as it could...
through every stitch of my clothes,
taking advantage of
the slightest movement of each limb.

Then the red road beneath my feet twisted
like a turkish belly dancer
and the white lines over it
bended like a poisoned snake;
I kept walking.
I kept walking WITH them;
it was then I felt the air in my face,
whispering miracles of nature to my ears,
SAW the dark-green forest next to me,
SAW the trees blinking their eyes invitingly,
LOOKed up in the sky- all blue and white,
searched for the bright sun and found it in the west;
going down,
waiting for a passionate black hole (FOR HER),
to swallow him, to tear him in pieces,
to rid him of all his burning pain for centuries,
LOOKed at my hands and saw the blood in my veins,
HEARd them flow, like a mad river,
smashing the rocks coming before it,
took a deep breath and SMELLed the scentless oxygen
with which the forest endowed me,
kept the rhythm of my dangling feet and
discovered the music in ME.

Then I thought I could paint a picture for HIM.
Wouldn’t it be such a nice way to express my desire?
So I kept walking to the next day to go buy a box of colors…

    Omg! This pulled me in and made me feel as if I were going ten different directions! The colors, the sights you spoke of, the music, the feeling? Well done dear. I'm in love with this piece. Julia~
