Waiting For Their Return
By vaultgrl
It's gloomy outside...
It's worse in here.
The shrieking winds,
match my thoughts and tears
Tears that will never be seen...
Thoughts that will never be heard...
They float away,
at the end of the storm.
Leaving false pretenses,
of returning to a norm.
I remain,
subconciously awaiting their return.

the abstraction of this idea is so haunting.. leaves me waiting for something too, without them, this world feels just empty, we are all somehow incomplete. great piece.
