Feel My Love

By Muse

How can I express to you the tears I've cried?
Every night they fall in time to my unsteady heartbeat
Healing crystal drops turned to acid
Burning scars down my face to stain my pillow
Eating away at me like maggots on decaying carrion
The burning stench driving all sanity clear
As the flames of my own demise leap higher
Despair and pain feeding the pitch pyre
Left to writhe and burn for all eternity

All this...

Clever Muse. Keep searching the dark corners of your soul. No matter what shade of gray you may find. I enjoy the read.
