Silent Despair

By Shewolf

I held you so very close
When you told me you wanted to die
I tenderly kissed you
While you cried in my arms
I cherished you
As if my Love alone
Would save you.
I gave you a dream
That will soon be reality.
I gave without question
Because you needed.
I’m Alone
Suffering in almost silent Agony
With nothing but these penned words
And silent tears
To help me through the loss
Of a beautiful Spirit
A mixing of the both of us.
Alone
I suffer in silent Despair
As the blood of birth
Pours from me
Silent testimony
Of that which I can never have.
