Kiss the Sun
By LilBlueCat
Cat tails gather near the water's edge
Huddling knee deep in sunken pools
Mosquitos shake excitedly with disease
Blue gill flinch; a golden eagle power dives....
Success struggles against deepening talons
A quivering heartbeat bursts.
