Sea of tears

By LordBrosnian

Amid the ruins of decay athwart the hissing bogs
Of man and greed of lust and hatred fitting like a cog
Within the darkness burst a light
And with its piquance cursed the night
The day My queen emerged from neath the fog

Traversed upon the vile ground, did she
(and) in the deserts wept a raging sea
yearning for another being, and
Burning for the man to sing
Halting, never did she, until me

Laughs we shared amid the marshy waste
with winds which left a most appauling taste
But near her, scents of honey filled the air
Which raped the sour breeze
And drown it in the seas
She'd wept until the day she found me there

Not many mem'ries fond of man could sit abreast to mine
The day our lips embraced for hours ducking rules of time
No air was granted on our own
But passing thro' our loved lips; sewn
We drank from one another's lung like wine

Such blissful scenes were forged into the pattern of my soul
Thro' ages as we stood entranced by swoonful depths of lull
My heart no longer beat alone
Such rustic passion, now my own
Beat righteously throughout those plains of woe

Within her eyes I found a place to rest
cold Embers from those past days of regret
Honey leaked about me in her sweat
As we ventured to the shore
To say goodbye to all before
We sailed away forever top the ocean which she'd wept
