Meet me at the dale
By LordBrosnian
Meet me at the dale
She looked as an angel bathed in lurid light
Bulbed rays danced round her curves strong and bright
from behind a curved back her neck turned with a smile
In frost of frustration my fibers grew stiff
The gaze seemed so somber and small as a child
Of passion? Of play? which? I couldn't depict
I stared at her wildly- as wolf and fawn
My tongue, paralyzed, but an image was drawn
I walked with a smug grimace painted on thick
As I neared with each step, moribund, I grew sick
With the anxiousness lived by a virgin's veil lifted
I placed it upon her smooth palm and retired
The paper unfolded-with deep eyes, she drifted
with haste, her soul lit as a funeral pyre
a map drawn with simple yet thourough detail
with a note reading " meet me one hour the dale"
She raised with the fervor of childhood fun
Annd moved towards the exit fast-paced to a run
Nowhere was I to be seen by her sight
Surrounded by shadows she made up her mind
The pale moonlit boughs were her guides through the night
Approaching still unsure of what she might find
Her fear sank beneath this new strangers attention
Alas' in the dale, alone, bones filled with tension...
"where are you, fine stranger" she teased with allure
"behind you" I hissed, looking eyes- deep azure
Her hands grabbed me like a corpse reaching for life
Pressed tightly I cradled the small of her back
She flinched as she felt the bulge of my sheathed knife
I held it with promise of abcent attack
I saw the deep passion melt back into fear
Holding it in front of her chest I begged "here"
She shook her head, dropped to her knees eyes of glass
with trembling lips she confessed
"I've never felt love yet with you it feels right"
Denuding dark clothes she undressed
Still holding my silver staff of vain redemption
I felt as my clothes hit the ground
Now nude and unpure in god's eyes, both, we stood
Drunken, in gaze, with no sound
Open your hand amd accept my cold gift
I wish you'd return me the favor
To vanquish this cold, broken soul from a life
That seems to have lost its sweet flavor
"I beg of you, let me retire tonight
One puncture is all that I ask,
Under the cast of my abbdomen armore
Release me from fetters of flesh...
I'd rather bestow my steel unto your grips
And leave my ill-fate in your hands,"
I placed the cold dagger within her smooth palms
screamed " NO LOVE CAN UNDO THE FATE OF THIS MAN!"
with force I latched onto her pale slender wrists
and inched it with ease twards my maw
"thank you for trying to help" I said whispering
"But I've seen what god already saw"
She jerked and bewailed as it sank even closer
But no force could csway from my will
Steady I felt it split open my flesh
Morello streams started to spill
"Thank you" I whispered into her soft ears
"for giving me what we all want...
A mind which can be silent amongst the dead
And never feel pain of the daunt.."
A tear of joy met by the sweat of my brow
As it skulked its way down my pale cheek
Trembling I felt the frost in my veins
As it sunk to the pit of my knees
When I fell to the ground
I pulled her head down
Till her lips pressed mine, cold as ice
"I love you," she said
Cradling my limp head
As I drunk from her infinite eyes
You've given me joy
That not god could deploy
I said with my last breath now weak
I left with her there
In the crisp, frigid air
The last tear of joy frozen on my pale cheek
