So Close, Yet So Far Away

I can feel it
I sense a familiar feeling
one that I will have to adjust to again
or maybe I could be wrong about this?

Comfort seems to come this way
however it comes from a distance
similar feelings and situations
seem to fuel what I think is a connection

Even if so
will I be ready?
am I capable of such a task
I do not want to let you down

I seek a prescence
to act upon all this
I want to make it special
I want to make it right

Mixed signals come this way
but it somehow feels fine
seems to suit us well perhaps
