In Reply To The Great Times We Had...

Dear Beloved Friend;
I send this out to you because I consider you a friend regardless
of what you see me as. I would just like to say thanks for the great times
we've had. Thank you for being you, the person I've come to know and love.
The love can only go so far though, "friend love" or further, matters not
to me. Everything used to be so perfect, and regardless of what you do
I still care. I will always be there. Things have changed. We had problems...some
of mine, some of yours, somtimes my fault, sometimes yours. We cannot however,
look past all this. It tears at me, but you're without a heart. I'm still
there for ya, wishing you the best of health, never judging you, and only
in your buisness to save you from certain harm you may not see. I do this
no more though, because slowly you push away. There can only be some much
distance before I am gone from you forever. So go ahead and do your best,
and eat away at my heart and soul. Just be careful what you do. You are
on your own, because I have learned too much about who cares and who does
not. Willing to show my love at anytime but not just sitting back and taking
whatever shit you bring my way. The demands, secrets and freedom you want
so bad or to rub in my face. Have them all dear, I could care less. Through
tough times, you really learn some things. Not everyone you think is there
is there. I can go on and on but there is no point. This is a final stand
on my part and it's not with an "attitude" or with sarcasm I rest assure
you. If you don't believe me, then don't even bother finishing reading
what I have to say as I have clearly wasted my time. I am ready to accept
this whole thing may be a waste. I got out what I had to say and how I
feel, whether you listen or not, like our relationship as friends, associates
or whatever is completely up to you. I leave not my fate nor yours, but
our fate in your hands. We live seperate lives, clearly, it's up to you
to decide what happens when it comes to things that may involve resurfacing
of feelings from the past. Best of health and stay well and if the worst
comes into play, good luck and have a nice life.
With much love as well as sincerity,

Too many versions of letters, e-mails, speeches in person, that sound just
like this or similar depending on the person. What is the point? I leave
this as a general statment now out to people and whoever cannot abide or
understand, I'm sorry but I shall have to let you go. A special thanks
as well to the ones who have been there for me or contacted me lately just
because of storm trials and tribulations. More or less a rant than a poem
I have here indeed. But when things like this happen it really is all about
being happy and sticking to your "true friends". Take care all...

Nice compilation. It's always odd how it's enough to make you let go, but never enough to sever the invisible connection. ~T~
