Held

By down-sx-ft

At night I lay alone
Comparing life to a stone
Going no where until someone comes along
Only to be used to skip the pond

For that brief second when you're held in thier hand
You feel on top of the world in the highest land
But then you're thrown to the fishes never to be held again
With a broken heart and shattered wishes drifting down with out a kin
