I Find Myself in a Weak Bottle of Wine

By Jazz Daffy

A new night spent
Deep in wall-staring
So much traded
For complete lack of caring
Sewing lives into blankets
The goal of the stitches
To secret our lovers and
Forfeit blind wishes

White stars
White morning
White scars
In mourning

Old complications
Numb away quickly
Smoke cigarettes
Grey air curling thickly
Throw all your flowers
Into dead angel’s mouths
Second star to the right
And true west by south
Clumsy by nature
With ceramics and hearts
Which weak forces
Would not tear us apart?

Safety haven
Safety whore
Quothe the Raven
fuck you
