Devils Over Angels (A Lust For Pain)

By MidniteBlaze

Is is not ok to love something different
something unlike the rest
one that resembles perhaps
the worst possible of things
evil lurks in their viens
and I have become a part of it
while practicing evil habits as well
innocence shattered away
with every word or touch upon another
resemblance to the devil in your ways of sin
and embracing you because I as well am a sinner

To sin together
to break all the rules
to do the least expected
because what is fun about the perfect path
the supposed perfect path of an angel
nobody is perfect
and an angel is prone to defeat
to deprive an angel of their wings
and the supposed pefection falls
yet another fallen angel

Two choices we all have
to continue a life of suffering from defeat
fallen in despair
or to live life on edge
and know exactly what motives to take
without getting you into too much trouble

Take my hand into the deepest parts of hell
let the love burn
let the tempations manipulate our souls
let us not think of the consequences
but thrive upon the happiness that will come of this
hurt me much my dear
because our pleasure is pain
and the favor returned to you
while not giving a care in the world
for any other soul who thinks otherwise of us
