Hush

By Last1inLine

I've got a funny feeling
The sky's too dark tonight
Every eye is shifty
These streets are far too quiet

Mothers can't stop crying
Fathers can't sleep at night
Somewhere behind their locked doors
are secrets they hold so tight

We all got skeletons
so keep your lips tightly sealed
You're just as guilty as them
and we know how you feel
You jump when they call your name
scream when they look at you twice
tell yourself they lead the good life
and god it must be so nice.

Under the dinner table
we all hold the smoking gun
so when you go to point your finger
don't forget anyone

Dignity left with the century
Honor fell asleep at the wheel
Decency may be the next to go
Depending on how we feel.

awesome lyrics... nice steady rhyme without the predictability. This song could be oh so addictive.
