Burned (I Put a Spell On You)

By MidniteBlaze

Let me take you away
into a realm that seems pleasing
but you are soon to see
that it is nothing of the sort
does this or does it not seem familiar
the same bullshit journey you take me for daily
your pathetic mind games
your constant guilt trips
dedicated are you to making life a living hell
God forbid you do not have things your way
why should I subject myself to a leech like you

Prepare yourself my friend
or at least that is what you claim to be
prepare for a taste of your own medicine
because two can play your game
except there is a difference between when I play and when you play
you start the game
I shall finish it
you seem hurt do you not?
I have no remorse for you
you prey upon another’s suffering

Feel the burn
give up your drama filled fight
because you have lost
cast the same spell upon you that you have on me
except I have you spellbound
this is the end for you
who would do this to you you ask?

The one who always treated you right
and in return you used and abused
look into these eyes
but mistake me not
they do not care any longer
now you know how it feels to be burned
I know it well cause of you
but not no more
as I leave your ashes to rust
and I walk off into the distance
no guilt whatsoever

Such cruelty you say?
a mirror image of what you are
not anymore
rest in peace
you are as good as dead to me
