Just sitting here
looking at you
if you need to sleep

I left you alone for a period of time
and now I come to visit you
just sitting here in silence watching over you
no present danger around
but if there was I would have it taken care of
it what I am here for
to make you feel good
simply watching over you

I may leave before you wake up
just so you do not see me in the act
nevermind
seems it is too late for that
so you caught me
or maybe you will go back to sleep
either way just know
that in one way or another
I will always be watching over you
