Convince Me Not

Misleading is no more
I have pushed any feeling of that towards me aside
I will not fall under another spell
as I know the facts
I love people as much as they love me
if there is any love at all
how I feel for love at the time
is a totally different story
just looking for the truth
behind all the lies
it is hard to find at times
but I believe I am well on my way
it saddens me as most of you I will take a leave from
upon a path that is suddenly much clearer to me
with or without you
I can do this
the choice is yours
but no longer shall you get in the way
at first I did not care
but because of you I now know what I must do
