Slipping Away

So you are here at last
we get to finally hang out
after finally finding days that we are not busy
in my mind testing possiblilities
trying to bond with you
I feel you slowly slip away

I always try to think positive
maybe I have it this time
my bright future is at hand
but it falls down everytime
I do not even know why I try

If you think I am being specific
look again if you will
step into my shoes
have those false hopes
just be dumped down to the bottom

Maybe you will feel just like I have
maybe you can understand
you can never understand
because your hopes and dreams come true
and my hopeless search continues on the other end
