Return to Innocence

By DarkSoul

Life crashes down around me,
Like the scream of a rain storm.
So much at once, my sanity buckles.
The stress of life, my burden.
One mistake...
Then.
She.
SCREAMS!!!
And my sanity crumbles,
Wak mortar under her savage, crushing maul.
Night and night again, a vicious cycle.
Why can't I be younger,
And escape this torture?
All the wqorries of today would melt away...

13 years old,
When's the next D&D game?

10 years old,
Who's this guy called Tolkien?

5years old,
Oh no! She'll give me cooties!

How I long for the days of my childhood,
Those days of golden innocence.
To be ten again!
Or even thirteen...
I want to return to the good days,
The days of beauty and innocence.
I just want to return,
Return to innocence.
Leave the worries behind me
And escape this trajedy of life.
But I continue...
